We are looking to fill the following positions*:

ROOM DIVISION MANAGER

We are searching for a highly energetic, passionate personality who will manage day-to-day Room Operations in accordance with Nihiwatu’s high service standards

  • To be responsible for short and long term Villa planning, and day-to-day operations of room housekeeping and related areas
  • Together with direct reports, take a leading role in positively representing the company with guests, reinforcing a customer focused approach to hotel operations at all times with particular attention to VIP’s and amenities
  • Provide clear leadership for quality and Process Improvement initiatives, aligned with business goals and objectives, maintaining a close liaison and support with all teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experiences in a similar role with preferable previous experiences in a five star Resort
  • Good command of English plus excellent presentation & communication skills
  • Hands-on professional with a solid Room Division background and the passion for quality and excellence • experiences working in a remote area
  • Must have a college / university graduate degree

EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER

We’re looking for a highly talented, innovative and experienced individual who’ll be able to take our incredible Housekeeping standards to even higher levels

  • Responsible for the smooth running of the Housekeeping department and will manage areas of profit, stock, hygienic practices and training within the Housekeeping team
  • Be very much a ‘hands-on’ manager who will lead by example to the team
  • Energetic and good team player
  • Works closely with Room Division Manager to upgrade the overall Housekeeping standard

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years previous luxury / upscale hotel experience in this field
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities are essential
  • Computer literate and knowledge of property management systems are an advantage.
  • Hands-on professional with a passion for quality and excellence
  • Experience working in a remote area is preferable.

BALI – OFFICE MANAGER

Office Managers are responsible for the organization of all administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of a professional office

  • Excellent guest contact skills
  • Energetic and an excellent team player
  • A task-master with very strong leadership
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years previous luxury / upscale hotel experience in a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Pro-active, responsible, able to work under pressure, tight deadlines and flexible work hours
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
  • Mature, enthusiastic and energetic with proven abilities to creatively resolve issues
  • Organized, energetic, creative and professional
  • Able to multi-task and communicate effectively.

RESERVATION MANAGER

To manage the reservations operations, including the Communication Center, ensuring the hotel standards and procedures are fully known and followed

  • To ensure a proper teamwork and supervise the reservation and telephone operator section at all times
  • To ensure that all incoming and outgoing room reservation requests are attended and handled immediately
  • To attract guest and to enhance their loyalty, providing a distinctive service through communication and sales skills, in order to maintain the hotel’s image and to increase revenue
  • To recognize potential clients and to transmit information to the Sales Department
  • To recognize VIP guests and to apply the concerned policies
  • To maintain a good commercial relationship with all the bookers: Guest/Companies/Agencies
  • To be fully aware of and to report all guest comments or complaints
  • To ensure the Guest History records are accurately maintained and all recurring guest are pre-registered.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years previous luxury / upscale hotel experience in a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities are essentials
  • Computer literate and knowledge in VHP are an advantage.
  • Hands-on professional and passion for quality and excellence
  • Experience working in a remote area

SOUS CHEF

You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the Kitchen department

  • The Sous Chef is responsible to assist Executive Chef in managing his / her assigned kitchen operation as a successful independent profit center
  • Your role is also responsible for preparing food in accordance with portion and quality standards specified in recipes
  • Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements
  • Ensure maximum guest satisfaction through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the Kitchen operation and administration

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience as a Sous Chef in an upscale hotel, resort
  • Approaches food in a creative way
  • Positive attitude, good communication skills, committed to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Excellent grooming standards and excellent planning and organizing skills
  • Relevant qualifications for role and ability to work a variety of shifts.
